The Water Foundation is a mission-driven entity acting as both a charitable organisation and strategic investor - anchoring a global capital stack to advance SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and improve the lives of 1 billion people through resilient, equitable access to clean water.
Based in Dubai, Delhi, Vaduz, and Munich, we form an cross-border non-partisan initiative to enhance water resilience, affecting peace through socio-political stability, and creating net gains in shared prosperity through positive impacts on health, food, and land.
What began as an improbable group of systems thinkers finding each other at COP29, grew into a targeted global initiative. We bring together exceptional people who are impatient with the way things are, embrace new ways of systems thinking across the water cycle and along the water tech stack - and have the courage to act.
